Vismaya - Marayoor

A very small food spot with a real homely food, be it breakfast or lunch. Only three tables and a space which can accommodate a maximum of 9 people at a time. But the food is really good. A purely local with a major Tamil style influence in the taste and flavours. They have kallu dosa, appam, porotta and chapathi for breakfast with kadala curry, green peas curry and egg curry. The chutneys are super good and really flavourful. My personal favourite is their dosa and smoked tomato and red chilly chutney. For lunch only steamed rice alongwith a Tamil Nadu style sambar and side dishes which were really good. They have fish fry and omlette as specials for the lunch. It is run by few ladies and the place is really neat and tidy. This place is located before the main junction and town of Koyilkadavu.
