We ate here recently while traveling through the area with friends. There were 8 of us and all had good meals. The staff was very friendly and the service and food were both prompt. Good food, nice place to eat. View all feedback.

We ended up at this restaurant late in the evening and desperate for something to eat. This place was one of the only open near our hotel, so we headed there. The staff seemed incredibly annoyed that we were placing an order, despite us asking when they were closing & being told they still had another hour! The food itself was AWFUL and incredibly greasy. This was probably a grocery store in a previous life. The food was just okay, no ambience to speak of, but staff was friendly.
On our road trip to B.C. we stopped in Marathon for lunch and discovered there were not a lot of options. After fleeing a restaurant recommended by a local (empty with dirty black tablecloths) we turned in desperation to the only option we could see....Twisted Sisters. Our initial impression was to once again flee but we were hungry and didn't know of any other choice, so we decided to stay. I ordered hamburger and fries and my friend ordered nachos (which are gluten free). The burger was ok, the fries were very good but the nachos were to die for! My friend said they were the best she had ever had and she knows good nachos. The lady that served us was also the cook and the cashier! This place is not the most appealing but the fries and nachos definitely made up for it.
We came here for dinner - not much choice for restaurants late in the evening in a small town - and were pleasantly surprised by the food. It is one of those funny places where you can buy all sorts of things, like scarves from China, or pillows, I am not sure why. Back to the point: the locals seem to frequent this place for a good reason: they have breakfast from 4:30 am! They offer full meals, as well as cappuccino, ice cream etc. We had a nice mixed salad with pan fried pickerel and real home fries. It was delicious.
IF it had air conditioning, it wasn't working. There were 5 of us. We had 2 cheeseburgers w/fries, sandwich w/onion rings, 2 'all day' breakfasts. All were good portions. BUT, the cheeseburgers were very good and fries were a different style than I have ever had before, I thought they were good but my brother-in-law didn't; the sandwich was OK, onion rings very greasy; the breakfasts were barely warm with super thin soggy bacon, cold scrambled eggs. Plus, the service was mediocre at best. My sister was first to order but they came back after the rest of us got our meals and asked her if she would like something too. In general, the restaurant temperature was hotter than the food. At least the pop was nice and cold.

What was the most disappointing, however, is that while taking our order, the staff member made a racist comment, which was shocking, far above inappropriate, and absolutely NOT ALRIGHT. I am disgusted with this establishment.
