Description

Enjoying a meal at this Marathon restaurant may feel like a culinary roulette - dishes can be hit or miss. Despite inconsistencies, prices and portions are fair. Accessibility for wheelchair users can be challenging due to heavy doors. Slow service and frozen appetizers were disappointments for some diners, while others found the food and service excellent. Home-cooked meals, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing make this spot a standout option in town. A variety of menu choices, though not always consistent, will likely bring patrons back for more. Recommended dining spot for a casual and satisfying meal in Marathon.

I ordered a sirloin steak weighing 8 ounces, served with fresh vegetables, a baked potato topped with sour cream and green onions, and a skewer of grilled shrimp.

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant, drawn in by the attractive drink specials and coupons.

My kids and I were hungry campers in town for groceries and I asked a local where to go and she was spot on. this place was a little understated in it's appearance but the food and service were excellent. Our waitress was kind and patient and the meals were hot and delicious. A very good value as well. Looking forward to next time we're hungry campers again. I would even go off the highway for this restaurant even if I was passing through.

My family decided to give this restaurant another try after a few years as we have never been completely satisfied with our previous experiences.

Excellent service and helpful recommendations from our server. Great food that felt "home cooked". The decor is very dated so we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of everything else. Very reasonably priced too. Would recommend this over other options in town.
