A&W Restaurant - Marathon

Pretty good service and food. My only complaint were the fries which were too old. They could have been hotter and crunchier. I usually ask for fresher fries but did not this time. They were really busy too.

We went in for veggie burgers and when we got them they were both completely wrong. I asked for new ones and they said it would take 6 minutes, 20 minutes later I'm still standing around waiting for my burgers. I had just been driving for 11 hours straight and had 4 hours of driving left so this was NOT what we expected from a "fast food" restaurant. Staff were fairly friendly however quite dopey.

Went in for quick burgers and had the same old standard, one Papa, one Mama. Staff was ok but not overly friendly. Burgers were not quickly forth coming. Food was ok but not overly hot. The only thing that is constant at any of these places is the Rootbeer. Cold and refreshing. If it wasn't for the time of day, we would have looked elsewhere.

This is my favourite A&W. I don't normally like to eat at A&W, but choices aren't really a thing in Marathon. The great staff and fast service make this a great place for breakfast, or supper if you don't feel like waiting around and want dependable food. I really like the breakfast.

Safe bet for a quick lunch with chain wide standards giving confidence. Friendly staff, clean, a little slower than some but still acceptable. Good if you are in a hurry.
