I am absolutely livid right now. I cannot believe that I’ve been living down the street from Navin’s for almost a year and I just now tried it for the first time! Why did I wait this long to eat such incredible food?! Ordered the spare ribs special and it was so tender I couldn’t even hold the bones without the meat falling off. Don’t even get me started on the Mac and cheese! The dude at the counter said it was his favorite and I can see why. I might go back and get some more just to have on-hand in case of an emergency. Don’t be like me and wait any longer. Go eat at Navin’s now!

What can I say St. Louis has a new Barbecue King. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great suggestions for first timers. The portions are generous. The salmon melts in your mouth. Is flavorful with a sweet tangy thick sauce that stands up to the smokiness for just the right flavor. The brisket is tender and juicy with a nice smoke ring that lets you know it was cooked low and slow. They even grill the bread Texas toast for a Texas size serving though I didn't order it the manager let me try the smoke pork belly burnt end melt in your mouth delicious and well seasoned. A special sauce for the salmon and a separate barbecue sauce that I never even opened because everything was just so tasty. Bottle soda in the fridge and FREE bottle water. I am coming back, I'm bringing family and I'm telling friends. My compliments to the chefs!!!!
The best bbq meat in the city (the meat is so good that I can’t highlight a favorite, they’re all highlights. Chris and his team couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. When it came to my wedding reception, my wife and I both immediately thought of Navin’s.Vegetarian options: Chris got some beautiful portobello mushrooms special for my vegetarian guests. I think they should make it a permanent part of the menu
