There was a wait to get seated but they texted me when a table was ready so it wasn't a big deal. Our waiter was fun. Mostly I loved Joey B's because I had the best fettuccine alfredo I've ever had. And the portion size was so huge it lasted me SEVEN meals! My only improvement suggestion is I suggest they serve the gooey butter cake at room temp vs cold. They also had nice patio seating which is a plus. View all feedback.
What Donia W doesn't like about Joey B's On The Hill:
They were out of a lot of items. Lasagna for one. No bread for the cod plate. My ceasar salad was too spicy. Go figure. The dressing was made up to be caesar. It was bland. The side was out of Co2. I informed the waiter after his 2and attempt at being us soda. He said he would have to check. View all feedback.
I remember eating here back when it was Venegoni's Huddle. This was a deja vu experience for me. I had toasted ravioli and it was excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. A very good experience.
Must have caught you all on a bad day. Hostess told us to sit wherever she didn't care anymore lol so I guess our waitress wasn't notified were there. When the food finally came it was very good except my fries were cold. Huge portions though. My husband ordered his burger well done and was very pink in the middle. Like I said bad day or bad time of day maybe
If you're looking for classic, timeless St Louis Italian, Joey B's is it. One of the best examples of St Louis style pizza anywhere. T-Ravs are just like the good ones were in 1979 in 1968 — really, really good. Onion rings are also excellent, as is the Hammer sandwich.
The people here are great, the food is fantastic, busy place but well worth the stop.
Did the 1/2 pasta with salad lunch special. Reginald our server was spot on with his advice/recommendations. Food was good and huge 1/2 portions. Enough food for my daughter and I to share. Location and parking was good. We did get there at 11am on a Monday and was seated right away but it started filling up fast.
