Very laid back. You shouldn't go here if you're in a rush. Excellent dressing. The pork steak is very good. 09/18/2022 is our second visit on Soul Food Sunday. I had the Fried Pork Chop and my fiance had the Smothered Pork Chop. Both were excellent and more than we could eat in one sitting. Thank God for boxes to go. I was so excited to dine here ever since I learned it was a black owned business and it received good reviews from a colleague. First, let me say, the decor and ambiance was beautiful. Loved everything about it. But the service was disappointing and beyond poor. The hostess and staff were friendly enough but many of the items present on the menu were unavailable. read moreI’ve never had a bad experience, the food is always fresh, hot, and very flavorful.
Staff was very nice. The poboys are great! We ordered the shrimp and the catfish,both were perfect! Love that sauce! We will definitely eat here again.
