Offers a unique yet familiar cup of coffee. I had the Carmel latte and it had a hint of spice in it which I’ve never had before. As someone who’s almost been to every coffee shop in the St. Louis I’ll be coming back. View all feedback.
Phenomenal environment and the coffee and food were fantastic! Definitely a great place to visit!!
Feels a bit like you're entering a fairy tale when you walk in. They have a great space that's inviting and well laid out. Good coffee and decent breakfast fare.
First time visit today had me thoroughly impressed. The dirty chai, drip coffee, and almond danish were delicious and the overall vibe was top notch. Great place to spend a quiet Saturday morning
Hmmm can I move in here? came here for a coffee double date and i think this is in my top two favorite coffee shop interiors in st. louis. SO well decorated without being over the top. fairytail/german themed with incredible attention to detail. Our table had a little dice game on it as well which we didn't play much of but totally would in the future. Coffee- i got a lavender oat latte and my bf got a mocha, both were great. Food- breakfast croissant was really goood as was the almond danish. yummmyyyy. The staff were super sweet and welcoming. The cafe was pretty quiet even though most tables were taken the whole time we were there. I could see myself studying here. Their background music is chirping birds and they have cuckoo clocks that go off on the hour which was so charming to me. will absolutely be back
I can't get over how many cute local coffee places St. Louis has. Black Forest Kaffee Haus is no exception! The cozy, dark fairy-talesque decor and friendliness factor at this Tower Grove coffee house alone are enough to bring me back. But the food and drink items I tried there also leave me wanting to come back and try everything else on the menu! I ordered the vegan and gluten free zucchini muffin and a chai latte with oat milk. The zucchini muffin was so soft and moist with a light texture on top from the oats and light sugar and was very full-flavored. Both that and the chai latte were on the sweet side but were really good! The muffin would definitely pair well with an unsweetened Assam or even green tea. They also sell a vegan gluten free carrot muffin too, so if you are a fan of carrot cake, you may want to try that out. I could definitely see myself frequenting this place and hanging out their to enjoy the environment. If you're looking for a unique little coffee shop with teas, pastries, and light food options, you should definitely give Black Forest Kaffee Haus a visit!
