Bait - Mar del plata

Intimate setting. Staff was amazing. Food could use a little tweaking. Potatoes and shrimp were overcooked but the French toast was pretty tasty. Orange mango Mimosa was good.

I had brunch here a couple of times. Food was real good!! The service was very professional, very nice people. Cameron and Kandis were our bartender and servers most recently. Good music too!

Called on a Saturday to make a reservation for a 10 person party because they don’t allow parties that size to reserve on the website. Someone answered and said a manager will get back to me the next day. Didn’t hear anything Sunday, so emailed the email address that is on their voicemail and that was told to me Saturday. It is now Wednesday and we still have not received an email or a callback from the manager. Very disappointed and will be taking our party somewhere else.

To start off, we had a reservation at 7 ,and we were told they were overbooked. Had to wait 25 minutes for a table. We were offered a drink while we were waiting in the cramped waiting area. We later learned that those drinks were not comped, and I was up charged $10 for a martini that was on the menu $23, I’ve had less expensive booze in Vegas). Extremely disappointed, service was top notch but food was not seasoned right, calamari was dry, shrimp looked so lonely in the plate (just very small overpriced portion) Red snapper fish looked fantastic but — growing up eating fresh fish I won’t call that fresh nor tasty.
