Boardwalk Waffles Ice Cream - Maplewood

This restaurant is really bad. They did not answer the phone when I called, and when I went to visit them on Telegraph Avenue, they were closed during their normal operating hours.

The service is impeccable and their ice cream is delicious. Even on weekends when it's booming, all the seats are full, and line is out the door, the servers took such good care of my nut allergy, they're cool, calm, and collected, and they're so extremely kind. These people deserve a huge raise for how hard they work. The ice cream flavors are smooth and priced well; the waffles are to die for. The music on the weekends is always good, the guys who have been coming to play KILL it; they really set the vibe. 10/10s every time

The owner should consider returning to the Jersey Shore and finding another way to make a living. It's possible he relocated to St. Louis due to his questionable behavior towards landlords, no matter where he says he's originally from.

The idea behind the restaurant is fantastic, but the only remaining store is far away from my current location and there are other ice cream options nearby. I did check out the Soulard location.

This restaurant is a fun spot to enjoy a variety of ice cream flavors served in cups or on waffle cones. The atmosphere is fantastic in the revitalized Maplewood area!
