We were seated promptly and only had to come once. We enjoyed both the curry and noodles we tried. Our takeout order was warm and ready on time when we picked it up. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maple Valley Thai Cuisine:
We used to love eating at this restaurant and it was our favorite place for years, but unfortunately the customer service has been terrible since the pandemic. We are disappointed to say we can no longer recommend it. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is excellent! I requested 5 stars and that is exactly what I received. Other Thai restaurants typically only give me 3 stars when I ask for 5. The parking is easy, they offer take out options, and the staff is very kind. This is our go-to Thai restaurant in Maple Valley. The only downside is that I deducted a star from the service rating because the lady at the front desk did not say "Thank you." Overall, the food is a 5, service is a 4, and the atmosphere is a 5.
The service was absolutely terrible. It took an hour to receive our to-go order after the pick-up time. The hostess was laughing at customers who were upset, with the manager right beside her. I will not be patronizing this establishment again. I would rate it zero stars. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a rating of 1.
Whenever I visit the Seattle area, I always crave Thai food since I couldn't find good Asian food in Arizona. We decided to try out this restaurant because it was close to my grandparents' house. The restaurant had a nice dining area with a dark ambiance that suited the vibe. We started our meal with the pot stickers, which were delicious and perfectly crispy. The accompanying dipping sauce was amazing. I ordered the chicken and shrimp fried rice, opting to pay extra for both proteins. The shrimp were large, not fishy, and well-cooked, and the chicken was delicious with no questionable pieces. The fried rice itself was incredibly flavorful and mildly spicy. I requested it to be 3 stars in terms of spiciness, but I could have easily handled 4 stars. The only downside was the abundance of onions in the dish, but they were easy to pick out. My grandma ordered the cashew chicken, which was phenomenal, and the crispy garlic chicken was breaded and delicious. The curry dish was also fantastic. Everything we ordered was exceptional, and I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
When we received our takeout order at home, we realized that the rice was missing, which was a minor issue. Unfortunately, the crispy garlic chicken, which is usually our favorite dish, was incredibly tough and difficult to chew. To make matters worse, we discovered a piece of wire in our chow mein, posing a potential safety hazard. I spoke with the manager about our concerns, but was informed that I would have needed to bring all of the food back in order to receive a refund. Thankfully, I had kept a piece of the chicken with the wire in it as proof. The manager suggested that they had given us the rice, but why would I lie about such a small item? We were only refunded for the dishes that were subpar, which would be acceptable for a three-star restaurant. In the past, the five-star restaurant I used to frequent would have recognized the inconvenience and offered a full refund without question. Sadly, this experience has left a sour taste in our mouths and we will be hesitant to return anytime soon.
We had a nice dining experience at Ahorntal Thai Cuisine for lunch. My colleague and I had a meeting nearby and decided to come here afterwards.
