Very delicious food! Had the Cubano sandwich and a corn and shrimp chowder perfectly seasoned and cheesy for a rainy day in Maple Ridge ! Both outdoor and heated patios were dog friendly which was a plus for my puppyAlso tried the crème brûlée gelato it was ok, creamy and smooth but nothing really memorable in terms of flavourOverall was a good experience! What twindates doesn't like about Golden Ears Cheesecrafters:
Great cheese …cheerful staff but very poor service. Be prepared to line up at the cash register to view the lunch menu. The menu items are way over priced considering you you do not really get service except when when they bring the food to your table . They do not really serve no checking to see if the food is ok etc My food items came up 20 min before my girlfriend s. No apologies.. do they even care? Hmm not sure.... View all feedback.
Really enjoyed our unique lunch here. Very friendly, courteous staff, great service, and comfortable atmosphere. There is also a ton of stuff to purchase in their store . We will be back.
The butter is sooo good. The cheese is sooo good. Cool store front with a lot of great food products. Also, their beer fest is the best!
A lovely setting for a relaxing cup of coffee after a walk. Unfortunately they do not appreciate seniors there who don't have a lot of money to spend but enjoy a coffee out and a visit with friends. Too bad. They will be old some day too!!! Very sad to see in this day and age.
First, I HAVE to recommend the cheese chive muffin. I cannot overstate how good it was. The Mac and cheese was just okay. I would order something else next time. What really makes this place special is the setting. It was nice to sit on the porch with scenic views and a gentle breeze. I also noticed there were heaters for colder weather.
Our order was so mixed up ... noone got what they had ordered. The food was minimal for the price. I believe the stsff and cooks must be new. It was pretty sad. I had been before and the food was tasty but agsin the order was wrong and I got 2 sandwiches out of it.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread was asked for but it came with regular bread.
