Taco John's - Maple Grove

I will drive 25 minutes just to buy the potato wedges which are basically just tater tots which are the best things in the world. I'm getting hungry, just thinking about them

I love love love Taco John's. I've been a lifelong customer. But I left disappointed the other day. I ordered a meat and potato burrito combo with fried chicken and an extra large potato ole. That all came to $16. The burrito, when I took it out of the bag, was so small. It was like a value menu burrito size, if even that. I was like um what? I opened it out of curiosity because there is NO WAY it should be that tiny. There were only two strips of chicken and NO potatoes. And the other toppings were very sparse like the lettuce and tomato. The potato oles I ordered were filled very sparingly as well, compared to what they used to be. You are NOT going to stay in business charging people $16 for value menu portions of food. That is ridiculous. I lodged a complaint through the website as well but have received zero response. I was ripped off, and I should be made whole. There is no way I am going to tell employees face to face, who handle my food, that they screwed up, since said food can be tampered with easily.

Five stars for service. For a fast food restauant, they were quick and polite. Minus a star for the food itself. Potato Oles are nice. Everything else on the menu is bland and boring. Their hours are shorter than Taco Bell's as well. There's a Taco Bell right across the street. You're better off going there. Save a couple bucks too.

Love their taco chicken salad, also tried taco fish. Food are good and pocket friendly. Service was good. You can dine in too.

This place has always had top notch service and food! Never burnt my meal, and always fills the drinks full to the top! Beth W is always a pleasure with her positive energy and great smile! She has awesome customer service and these reasons are why I come back here.
