had a delicious blizzard and my friend liked their chocolate shakes very much. a walk was much faster than waiting for the long journey through the line. the dining room was closed when we came, but that was not a problem. just didn't want to get my car sucked in a drive. service was friendly and the place also looked very clean. What Bret Kilback doesn't like about Dairy Queen (treat):
Only ordered med berry dipped cone.. Waited almost 10 mins.. Received a dripping cone with partial dip, asked for a new one that took another 5 minutes.. It started dripping ice cream all over within another couple minutes... Staff really needs more dip training here. The new berry dip flavor takes like plastic.. Will definitely NOT repeat. It poured out rain, and we were looking for a place to dive. there are no signs that are displayed anywhere on the parking lot that the dining room was closed. After we went to the house, we asked the manager why the dining room was closed. he immediately became rude and talked about how they don't have a personal. we turned and went out.
HR Director here who heavily recruits nonexempt and exempt staff in the hospitality industry. Mario (not sure the exact spelling/sorry! please cherish his management skills while being absoutely slammed with customers, definitely a keeper. I'm always looking and he's by far one of the best I've run into ..who is also very cleaely loyal to DQ! As most know recruiting, onboarding, then training plus retention in the last two years has become critically important, moving to the forefront of most business needs in this industry. My experience Mario was very kind and accommodating while I held up the line ordering a birthday custom written icecream cake. By the time I was done with my order went to pay it was READY custom writing and all!! Clearly well trained staff accompanied by this great Manager 5/5 recommended based on turnaround speed, kind pleasant staff and my overall experience! Big thank you to the MOD staff who pulled off this amazing custom ice cream cake for me. It was a last minute immediate need and they crushed it. Much appreciated!! ?
Can't even buy food inside, order online, or call for takeout, and their drive through has a line literally going out the parking lot onto the street I'm not going to endanger myself for some ice cream This place seriously needs to reevaluate its set-up What if you don't have a car and you walked? Went through the drive through. First burger pictured on the right was soggy and inedible and smothered in only ketchup no pickles no mustard??? like it was microwaved at a gas station YUCK. Second burger after being asked to pull back through to get a new one looks completely different bun and all. Bun was cold and super dry, toppings were great but couldn't even eat the bun it was basically stale. Was told they didn't have Sunday coupons and i wasn't feeling ice cream so my six dollar meal deals consisted of fries today pretty much. Such a shame what has happened to this place?.
