This spot is old fashioned and out dated. Very noisy from the allow sounds. And hardly any parking close to the hotel. The ask for payment up front. Because after 1 night you want to leave ..
Very friendly staff, good food, children enjoyed the fish nuggets chips the fish soup. Chips tasted like ones you get from the supermarket rather than homemade a bit on the soggy side. Very limited offerings on salad (one! with or without tuna. Squid swordfish were both nice but my favourite was probably the fish carpaccio the soufflé pudding. The view was the winner for me. So wild, and dramatic. A storm is predicted for tomorrow so the wind was picking up and the waves crashing against the cliffs made for a wonderful backdrop for a meal.
We were in here in 2020 and the views and the food were well worth the return visit. The calamari starter was very tasty and the batter light and crispy. The gambas starter was fine but not overly flavourful. We shared the Arroz Negro. While I am no expert and have only had this dish a handful of times, this was definitely the best I have had and highly recommend it. The service was very attentive and the views are just amazing. Definitely put this our list of places to go if you are around Mahon.
Fantastic food and fantastic views! Cap Roig is must We had sardines and oysters to start and lobster
