Cafe Miko - Manurewa

Not sure why this place has such a low rating as that is not what we experienced.We visited the gardens to view the sculpture trail it was a busy day in the park cafe. The cafe had water bowls for dogs there was a variety of spaces both inside outdoors.We both had coffee which was well made, and a glass of bubbles. For meals we had the fish chips which was a decent portion. I think the fish was pre-frozen but it was nice enough the chips had a nice seasoning. Also the mini frittata with salad which was full of veges had a tasty plum chutney with it. Service was friendly quite efficient considering how busy they were

This place was almost like a fine dining experience, it was so good! Tried a meat dish (can't remember the name) and a piece of cheesecake. Melts in your mouth. Chef is really nice, he brings your meal to the table personally. Woman at the counter isnt so friendly though. Love the botanical gardens, good place to have lunch if you're stopping by.

Lovely cafe set in the gardens with a space for children to play outside. Food was nice, however it was $17 for smashed avocado not very filling considering the price tag... the kids fish finger meal had only 3 fingers with chips salad but came with a cute bubble wand necklace which kiddies loved :

Not the best of the customer service . But food was amazing ! Tried the Thai green curry . Fair to say these guys do Thai green curry better than Thai restaurants Honestly best green curry ever . Salmon bagel was very nice too . If they had good customer service as well, then it would be a 10/10
