Met a friend here. Wasn't sure I was going to like it while looking from the outside. The inside was clean and nice. The eating area was away from the bar area. We had a very nice time and the food was good Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Food was amazing we got steaks, salads were good. Chili is a bit spicy but most people like that we are just old and odd. Kids enjoyed their food one got chicken tenders the other got cheeseburger and they are very picky. Appetizers were cheese bites and zuchinni sticks and they tasted great. Definitely stop in wish I would of known of this place sooner! Service: Dine in
This was my first visit to Jake's, invited by an old high school friend for dinner. This is a small town family friendly restaurant that is bright, clean, and inviting. Its extensive menu has many options for vegetarians and pescatarians. I tried the Caesar salad with an 8 oz salmon fillet and asked that my fish be grilled and medium rare. Ot was cooked perfectly and simply delicious. The barramundi fillet dinner my friend irdered was huge and came with two sides. He enjoyed all of it. Another diner with us had a bowl of chili, which she said was very good. I will definitely go back to try other menu items in this little gem of a restaurant. It can be a little noisy at times with children's voices, but even they were charming and well behaved. I look forward to returning. It is so refreshing to eat at a locally owned restaurant that's not a franchise and has great food!
