Typical Trattoria with typical local cuisine and excellent wines ... always local. Interesting menu with seasonal dishes; of what I have tasted I recommend the sausages (lardo in absolute), then, between risotto, gnocchi and tortelli make a trio. It is located not far from the historic center, from which it can be reached with a 5-minute walk. Reasonable prices (from 25€ to 35€, max, for person all inclusive). View all feedback.

The food is great and I’m sure the staff is polite but I was completely ignored by them. I appreciate it was busy but still I was there and deserved to receive a decent service. Caterina View all feedback.
We had a lovely dinner but not perfect. The menu was a bit challenging although apparently this is typical Mantova food (horses beef, snails, frogs). Wonderful service, great wine and the food was good all in all.
What to say more? The restaurant was full. We were lucky we got our table resreved and try this tasteful food. We ordered: 1) ravioli with polenta and boletus, 2) maccheroncini with cooked horse meat and 3) duck in chestnut sauce with pistacchio and lettuce. Also, we tried plate of various cheeses and their delicious house wine. 5/5
The restaurant was recommended by a local and we found it lovely. It gets busy so arrive early or make a reservation.

We went to eat on Friday at lunch. not too many people, quiet environment initially everything well. the service makes us change our minds: the girl comes to get us orders with making uneasy and uncooperative. having two of us worked in the field it seemed quite inappropriate from the moment we asked for clarifications about some dishes receiving dry and unexplanatory answers. when we buy a bottle of wine we are not allowed to taste. nothing to say about food and quantity, very good, we knew where we were going, but the service has a lot of disappointment. to conclude at the time of the account the girl debuts saying that she has no rest enough (rolled the excess account and however we talked about cents). we wish the best but for the service we will not return
