Subway - Manteo

I'm not sure about all of the staff, but when I visited the restaurant, it was being run by two older individuals who seemed inexperienced. It took 15 minutes just to make sandwiches, even though there weren't many customers. Having worked at Subway before, I know how easy it is to make sandwiches quickly, but the employee was struggling to ring up a card payment. Customers should be prepared to wait a long time when visiting this Subway location.

Recently, a colleague was attacked by a customer who threw a sub in her face at this restaurant. Despite this, she bravely continued her work, including taking out the trash alone at night. It is concerning that the restaurant does not prioritize the safety of their employees.

The Outlaw sub was tasty, but there were a couple of problems. The sandwich was dry and could use more chipotle sauce, and when they toasted it, it made the bread hard on the ends. They should work on perfecting the toasting method and reconsider the amount of sauce they put on the subs.

This is the second time in a row I have gone to this restaurant to get a sandwich and they have given me the wrong one. I specifically asked both times and was certain it was correct. While they can see everything they are doing, not everyone has perfect vision and the cheeses may appear similar. However, there is a distinct difference between American cheese and pepper jack cheese. They either are too careless to notice the difference or simply don't care. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant was a quick and convenient stop on our way back from the aquarium. Everything was speedy, and the staff was friendly.
