Nice autumn day of a super lunch @Lost Colony Brewing. Great beer, even better food. Chicken Quesadilla was fantastic. Shrimp and Crab enchiladas is not to miss, cheesy creamy kindness. Great service beautiful location!

Great beer and quality food. Beer selection includes lighter beers, malty beers, IPAs, and a great scotch ale. Food is made from quality ingredients, put together with care. Our server was a wise guy and made us laugh constantly. Really enjoyed this place. Would definitely return.

The fried mahi and crab pretzel were amazing. I got a flight with the Blonde Ale, IPA, Scotch Ale, and Imperial Stout. My personal favorites were the Scotch and Blonde. Scotch was very bold but with a sweet finish. The Blonde is a very refreshing and a slight citrus finish. The IPA was pretty standard. The imperial stout was very good, and I'd get it again. The blonde just slightly edged it out of my top 2.

What an awesome place. There beer selection is British style. Finally, a brewery that gets it right regarding IPAs. They have only one, and that one is brewed as the traditional British IPA. The description excited me: 'British IPA’s were never meant to be clown cars for hops...Different from its American counterpart, this beer does not neglect its barley soul while increasing its hop flavor. ' My favorite beer was the Blonde Ale. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. The locale is also a neat place and it was very comfortable sitting outside.

We stumbled upon this place a few years back while visiting family in the OBX. Each time we come to the area we try to make the time to visit Lost Colony Brewery. For the last 2 years, we even made a special point of detouring on our boat cruise to stay for a day or two at the Manteo Marina, where by a happy coincidence , Lost Colony Brewery is just across the street! The food is good and the craft beer, especially the Red,Blond, and IPA , are my favorites. Worth special mentioning it this: Red (the fiery fun bartender behind the bar, not the beer) was a lifesaver to us! This past July 2020, there wasn’t a bag of ice to be bought within walking distance. We were making our way back home on the Chesapeake and the 90° temperatures had depleted our ice supply. I absolutely had to keep the several 6-packs we bought for the trip home cold and was getting panicky when Ms Red came to the rescue! I informed her of our dilemma so she had me go to the boat fetch a bucket so she could fill it with ice from their machine and replenish our cooler. Lost Colony had already ranked 5 stars with us but Red and her kind help took our rating to the moon!
