The Bucket - Mansfield

I was reluctant to write a review, but after a disappointing encounter with the owner and finding my fish undercooked, I felt compelled to share my experience.

I gave this restaurant a one-star rating because I couldn't give it zero stars. The service was very poor, with the waitresses paying more attention to the people at the bar than to the customers at the tables. The food was just okay, definitely not great. When I asked the waitress for some sauce for my steak, she said she would look for a bottle but ended up making me wait while she tended to the people at the bar. It was clear that all her tips were coming from there. This lack of professionalism shows a lack of management. I wondered where the owner was during all of this.

Our experience at the restaurant was not great. We had to wait for 10 minutes before a server even acknowledged us. However, the pretzel appetizer we ordered came out quickly and tasted great. Unfortunately, the main meals were bland and disappointing. This was our second visit to the restaurant and we had a similar experience the first time, waiting 20 minutes for drinks that never arrived. We probably won't be returning.

Terrible experience! we should have waited because we left when they opened. I remember eating was overpriced for the portions. when I explained that to the server, she acted as if she didn't care. she told her we weren't back, then she gave us the check...WOW! left mad and hungry. never left. I stay at the malabar restaurant or blackfork bistro in loudonville.

A wonderful beach type restaurant/bar atmosphere….like nothing else in the area! Great seafood and other options! I have ate here many times and love to see how far the staff has came….a new restaurant in these times takes a team! Keep up the good work, Mansfield needed this!
