Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Mansfield

This location is consistently closed and the staff is terrible. If I could give them a zero rating, I definitely would.

It's baffling how this restaurant has remained in business for so many years while consistently providing terrible food and awful service. Since I moved to the area four years ago, I’ve had nothing but disappointing experiences here. Unfortunately, it’s the only Popeyes for miles, making it the most convenient option. The employees have the worst attitudes and seem completely indifferent to customer service. It's obvious that none of them want to be there or do any work. I’ve waited at the counter for more than ten minutes, only to be ignored as the staff casually strolls around, acting as if they're closed. And to make matters worse, they NEVER have any chicken available, especially after 5 PM. No tenders, no nuggets, no spicy or regular chicken—nothing! This has happened every single time I've gone through the drive-thru. The staff appears disheveled, as if they sleep in their uniforms, and they tend to speak Spanish among themselves, rarely communicating with customers. I’ve encountered eye-rolling and dismissive behavior that is simply unacceptable. Finding a manager is nearly impossible; they are never on-site when I've needed to speak with someone about my experiences. It's disgraceful and reflects poorly on the company’s brand. I genuinely don't understand how this location continues to operate or attract such a poor caliber of employees. It feels like there's an exclusive clique among the staff, where anyone outside their group is ignored or dismissed. This has been my experience for years, and it’s incredibly frustrating. I often find myself driving out of my way to visit a different Popeyes, where the atmosphere is entirely different. The negative experiences at this location tarnish the brand's reputation, leaving customers extremely unsatisfied and frustrated. The word will spread, and I can only hope that this location soon faces its downfall. It's disappointing that someone might give them another chance after months of avoidance, only to be let down once again. It's truly sad and disgraceful!

**SECOND VISIT:** I’m not sure why I thought things would improve on my second visit, but they didn’t. The wait was nearly 45 minutes, making me late. I ordered three items but should have checked the bag before leaving the drive-thru. One of the items was missing, and the other two were incorrect. I had ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a Golden BBQ chicken sandwich, but I received two completely plain chicken sandwiches. They had no pickles, no spicy mayo, no BBQ honey mustard, or any regular mayo—nothing at all. All their chicken sandwiches are supposed to come with pickles and at least one of their sauces.

Didn't give me my 4 biscuits, and the red beans and rice was to watered down. My 8pc had 4 wings and 4 thighs.

Best fried chicken love the spicy option. Red beans and rice are my favorite side.
