This is a very small but beautiful restaurant with really great tasting food. Great options for a vegetarian or vegan. Loved the green spicy (very spicy) enchilada sauce on my soychorizo enchiladas, and the Mexican olla cafe. I am much more used to Tex-mex food and generally skeptical of being able to find vegetarian options but this authentic Mexican restaurant won me over. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What Aileen Alcivar doesn't like about Casa Jacaranda Cocina Mexicana Mansfield Tx:
Good Barbacoa. Their burritos are insanely small. Small portions. Chicken was salty and didn’t have much flavor. Beans were bland. Nice people. Honestly, I expected more because I heard such good things of the Venus location. View all feedback.

This is the hidden gem of Johnson/Ellis county.Ive only had better Mexican food than this in the Rio Grande Valley. The prices are modest if not cheap, but cheap doesnt belong anywhere in this review. The breakfast is worth waking up for, the tortillas are soft and fluffy like the eggs served inside them. The lunch and dinner menu is exceptional as well, I probably had everything on the menu and haven't tried something I didn't find amazing.Household personal favorites are the Chile Relleno, and the pork tamales. The chips and salsa are amazing as well, but splurge on the queso!
Food is crazy delicious, very affordable, and the portion size to me were perfect. First time here and I will be back tomorrow for brunch.Highly recommend
I’m ordered a shrimp and chick nachos and the shrimp came out smelling spoiled I couldn’t even eat the food spent 15 bucks just to let it go in the trash.Y’all definitely could tell the plate wasn’t even touched .Definitely wouldn’t wast my money cause that’s how people get sick. The cookie was good that’s about it !
My favorite meal is the spicy chili relleno dinner with corn tortillas. Best I've had in North Texas.
