I was assured over the phone that... read more After calling them to address the issues with our order, they simply offered to replace the cold food and correct the errors. I was assured over the phone that the food would be prepared and sent out immediately. However, I ended up waiting another half hour, and my fish had gone cold, yet there was still no sign of the new order. After making a third phone call, I encountered rude and aggressive language on the other end. Frustrated, I decided to go to the shop to request a refund. The woman behind the counter should not be in a customer service position. She was confrontational from the beginning, swore, and slammed things down on the counter in front of me. As she stormed off, she shouted to her colleagues to handle it themselves. The part-owner at the counter tried to help, but it seemed like she was confused about the situation. The other owner eventually returned to the shop and told her to refund me without offering any apology for the two-hour wait or the unpleasant experience. As a regular customer who used to recommend this chip shop, I am extremely disappointed. After today’s experience, I will never return and definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone else.

It's reminiscent of something you'd find on MasterChef. I don't mind sharing a photo, and if others agree, at least people will know what to expect. I'm not trying to be dishonest; I just feel that your portions have gotten smaller while the prices have increased. That said, I still gave it 3 stars because the food is tasty, albeit a bit pricey. However, I've been there a few times, and I've noticed that your portions are much smaller compared to similar offerings elsewhere for the same price. This time around, I must say, I've encountered thicker fish fingers from Birdseye.

The only problem were the steps... read more Tried this place after seeing a youtube review by Macmaster. Excellent food, fresh hot,friendly staff. Will definitely be back! The only problem were the steps on entry, could do with a handrail. Wheelchair users would have to ask for the food to be brought out for them, but I'm sure they would oblige. We've now tried fish,chips mushy peas, mixed kebab, the gyros is delicious. Just wish I was in Greece to eat it. All freshly cooked hot. Can't fault this place, the owner staff are great they remember you! Great customer service. WELL DONE.
