It is a casual, chic place with some outdoor seating for smokers. It is a travesty of the no smoking...law in Europe that restaurants turn a blind eye to people who puff away merrily outside while having their meal. There is a relatively extensive menu plus daily specials, all at prices that are great value for Western Europe. I had the carrot soup and the focaccia pesto sandwich, and both were excellent. So was the fresh lemonade. The service was one of the warmest I have experienced in the generally gruffy Germany!
