Fish Shack - it even sounds good!!... read more Stopped here after our ferry ride from Sydney. Tons of restaurants to choose from but this one just seemed to call out to me. Fish Shack - it even sounds good!! I had the Beer Battered Fried Hake Fish and Chips. Others had the grilled fish, onion rings which were also good. It was nice too to not get charged for ketchup here!! Prices about average from what I've seen. Service was fast and good. Nice views of the ocean. Nothing fancy here but it was a very good meal - we all enjoyed it and then took a stroll along the beach after.

Boasting the best fish and chips? Cold, greasy and over cooked. Cardboard comes to mind. And since when is a Caesar Salad a bowl of lettuce? Only paid for drinks and walked out! Straight to Manly Grill!
