While the food selection may be meager and overpriced, the decent wine selection and lively ambiance make up for it. Despite some service hiccups, such as long wait times and inconsistent attention from servers, the Wine Cafe is a must-visit for those looking for a relaxed and eclectic atmosphere. The recent changes made by the new owner have only enhanced the overall experience, promising stylish updates and delicious offerings in the future. Whether you're a local or just passing through Mankato, the Wine Cafe is definitely worth a visit for its charming ambiance, variety of drinks, and laid-back atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more.

Reasons to love the Wine Cafe: Live music every weekend New and totally delicious food cocktail menu Re vamped attached off sale liquor store, which specializes in fine wine Splendidly eclectic, dive bar feel with a dash of sophistication (but not too much to feel stuffy) The Wine Cafe is truly a must go for anyone living in or visiting Mankato. The Cafe changed ownership right before COVID hit, and the new owner has been breathing new life into the space little by little, meaning it's even better now than it was three years ago I'm not sure what they're planning next, but whatever changes they make in the future are sure to be stylish and delicious.
Had a great time at this cozy, friendly neighborhood wine Cafe.
Great atmosphere, wine and food. Also love the music on the patio.
