I've heard about this place for quite some time before finally deciding to check it out myself. It was an interesting experience, but we've actually gone twice and really enjoyed it each time. We weren't too impressed with the appetizers, but the main courses were well-prepared and offered at a reasonable price. I've already recommended it to friends and family to give it a try. I ordered a burger that was satisfactory and a Manhattan that was okay, though it lacked a good balance of flavors. At least I didn't have to deal with ice chunks in it. View all feedback.
Very good food. Had the new york strip which was on special. Cooked just right served with good homemade sauces. Plenty of food with the meal, will go back and try again sometime
Always great food here and reasonably priced. Ben at the bar makes absolutely killer old fashioneds. Beautiful decor and friendly staff. It's perfect for date night or relaxed night. Don't sleep on this place, come get some wine, a cocktail, and have a wonderful dinner.
Their lunch specials are a good portion of food, with friendly staff and prompt service. Try the steak salad!

Much better than the out-ofthe-way location and aging clientele would have you believe, this restaurant has some of the best food in Mankato. It is always tasty, regardless of menu. If they had a more central location and an updated interior, they would easily outshine every restaurant in Mankato currently now that Olives has given up ownership. Recommended highly.
