Best place in Chipre for a good seasoned steak and a very affordable price for foreigners and locals. Friendly waiting staff and lots of seating available in this two story restaurant.

The restaurant Asados Chavita is a truly hidden gem, the food is to die for. We had the Churrasco it was amazing the meat was nice and juicy, it came with arepa, potato, Patacón, tomato, Chimichurri, and salad. It has a nice family atmosphere, there's...balcony seating and upstairs they have an event room for bigger occasions.

I must admit that many years ago I did not visit this restaurant as its original place is in a manizales sector that I do not regularly frequent (chipbar.) therefore, and after listening to the new headquarters of Chavita roasts, in the star district, I decided to visit it and frankly, it was worthwhile. The new place is spacious, comfortable and illuminated (it is a renovated sector house) and the decoration is pleasant (similar to that of many restaurants that have opened so doors in recent years). It is important to note that they have very comfortable prices (in the letter the most expensive dish that I saw was around 23,000 cups) but the portions are very generous. Additionally, they have the option of half serving in some of the so dishes, which is thankful to my mom who is little lover of the meat.We order a churrasco (great flavor, the staff fulfilled to fullness with my demands regarding the term of the meat,) a two people All the dishes were very well prepared, very good flavor meats and very fast attention (in our case, they did not spend more than 15 minutes from our arrival until they had food at the table). On the other hand, I must highlight the kindness of the staff (including the owners, who were also attending) and the freshness of the food (the salads that accompanied the meats looked and felt very fresh)The only drawback that it has (which shares with all the restaurants in the sector) is the parking space. Although they offer this free service in a parking lot, many customers would prefer to go somewhere else than to cover that stretch on foot (more than three blocks walking). Summarizing, very good flavored meats, fresh foods, comfortable prices and friendly family atmosphere. I will return.
