Tony's Pizza - Manitowoc

We stayed here a few times in the last 10 years on the way to and from Door County (from the Milwaukee area . We went out to find it this time again, after about 3 years. Our server, Brook, was excellent and the manager (I think Patti? was also very friendly. Both were obviously very concerned about the business and its survival. We had four in our group and we were sitting outside (very nice, except the truck noise, but no way to control it! We ordered various items (pizza, appetizer, carbonara (sp? and regular spaghetti. We were more than satisfied with our meals. The prices were reasonable. I was with my mother who was vegetarian (she had the appetizers and she said it was the best meal she had all week, although we had some great meals in Door County. Many options for them as a vegetarian that I am always conscious (happy mother, happy daughter! If you haven't given them a try since they've reopened a few weeks ago, you'll miss. I wish they were closer to me, we were definitely regular guests! We will continue to make it a stop on our way to or from Door County.

Best pizza in Manitowoc! I will never forget the numerous times when my friends and I would order Taco Pizza and the Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizer. Their food is amazing! The atmosphere is joyful and energetic. The staff is very helpful also.

We got here at 9 pm on a Saturday, was surprised they were closing. They happily said they would take our order. We got a pizza quick and it was fantastic. Just the way we like it. Will return whenever we are in Manitowoc. Happy friendly server

Since the new ownership took over, I’ve been there four or five times, and the pizza has been fantastic every single time. The atmosphere is much brighter now compared to before. They also have a nice happy hour with a really friendly waiter. The sandwiches and spaghetti looked amazing too. The owner is a genuinely nice guy who clearly puts in a lot of effort. It's always challenging to smooth out the early bumps for a new business, but they seem to be on the right track. We will definitely become regulars! I highly recommend giving them a try!

Since the new owners took over, the menu has been significantly streamlined, which I believe is a positive change because a jack-of-all-trades often lacks expertise in any one area. The pizza we had was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our server, Tyler, was wonderful and very friendly. It’s clear that the restaurant is adjusting under new management, but I don’t think it has negatively impacted the experience—only one other server came over to take our order directly to Tyler.
