Pea Patch Saloon - MANITOWISH WATERS
Pea Patch Saloon
Description
Nestled in the scenic North Woods, this restaurant offers tasty dishes like grilled cheese, chili, and homemade fries, complemented by unique drinks such as the potent Pea Water. Guests enjoy spacious, clean rooms with stunning river views and convenient nearby amenities. While some praise the lively atmosphere, attentive bartenders, and accommodating staff—especially for food allergies—others report inconsistent service marked by rudeness and poor management. The mix of positive experiences and notable frustrations highlights a venue with strong potential hindered by uneven hospitality. Visitors are advised to weigh these contrasts when planning their visit.

Food and Drinks: The food was delicious and prepared excellently, and the service was quick. Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5
The rooms are clean and spacious, and I was pleased to have a full kitchen available. In terms of walkability, there are several nearby dining options and a grocery store just a block away, making it easy to get around on foot. One highlight was the beautiful river view, although I did notice some litter that I picked up during my walk. If you're motorcycling, be cautious in the parking area, which is made of river rock. The smooth, round stones can be slippery, especially when wet. In contrast, the upper parking lot is all paved. Room rating: 5 Service rating: 4 Location rating: 5 Hotel highlights: Stunning view.
Situated near a picturesque bike trail system, this restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the chili and beer during my visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. Additionally, the nearby bike trails are perfect for outdoor activities.
