I tried the Thin Mint Avalanche and it was absolutely delicious! It's a must-visit if you're in Manitou Springs.
The custard here is incredible, perfectly topped with just the right amount of additions—simply delicious! This place is a must-visit when you’re in this beautiful city. Matt is friendly and clearly passionate about his work. I will definitely return to sample more!
Delicious ice and friendly staff that it operates. I have an apple pie shake that was amazing! the homemade apple pie with their homemade custard/ice cream was to die. this is our usual summer place!
We love this place! The Custard is so delicious creamy. And he says jokes for tips. Great service and atmosphere.
Great authentic custard and extremely friendly customer service.I was looking for dessert in Manitou Springs and located this lovely well-rated custard shop. The concept is simple. It is a walk-up window with a few tables and chairs outside. There are a number of sundae and custard options. I opted for the Mountaineer Avalanche, which is similar to a Blizzard but with custard. It was really tasty, though just the tiniest bit icy compared to Midwestern custard perfection. The man who served me, who I guessed may have been the owner, was extremely nice and honestly displayed some of the best customer service I have ever had. He was kind, struck up a conversation, and we talked for a few minutes in which I could tell he wasn 't faking. He did not ask for a tip and the credit card machine did not have an option to give one. I was sad I did not have cash to tip him. This was a great dessert venture.
