Orde... read more We stayed in the Ibis near the airport and had an overnight so popped out for our first meal here. Arrived early but managed to get a table which was good. Ordered some prawns in garlic butter was served tiny frozen prawns over cooked in a microwave. Saw another waiter from the bar spot and query it and our waiter shrugged his shoulders and smiled. Perhaps he thought they are only tourists or English perhaps? Then a few more dishes which were at best average. For 2 the of us he charged us 50 Euro. This was our worst meal experience in Spain which was disappointing. No one likes to feel they are being mugged off when they arrive in a new country and having found out how much great seafood there is in Spain and how huge and inexpensive the prawns are it was clear to me that we were taken advantage of. My advise would be find somewhere else to eat!

Had veal and my son had Spanish sausages. It was excellent and value for money. We both enjoyed the home made custards. Had a lovely reservada red wine which was smooth on the tongue. Finished off with a lovely complimentary shots. If you are staying at the airport travelodge, just come here as you won't be disappointed.

The staff speak little English but are attentive and helpful. Dinner and breakfast same story, freshly cooked and top quality.
