We honestly... read more We spend a lot of time in Duquesa and for some reason even unbeknown to us, we don’t eat here nearly enough. That will definitely change in future. We honestly haven’t had as good a value meal since last time we went to the same place a few weeks back. Tonight was chicken tapas night. Stuart and his team made us feel welcome and important from the second we sat down. The food is as good as anything you’ll get in the port but without the inflated prices you’ll get if you have a glimpse of the sea. This reality is a hidden gem that people’s need to seek out.

Always get a decent greeting from Stuart and got ourselves a table most were already reserved). It was street food night Wednesday but be early if you haven’t booked) Cracking food and only 3€ a dish. Absolutely lovely. We definitely don’t make the effort as much as we should as it’s worth the trip up the road from the port. Great pint, wine lovely , food excellent. Thank you guys we will be back very soon.

Very friendly and helpful staff.... read more Around this cozy little plaza there are bars and restaurants. All very familiar. We chose the tapas restaurant and we loved it. Very friendly and helpful staff. The service was good and the food excellent. We had the BBQ ribs, fish, chicken and leek pie, cheeseburger and dessert of course chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and coffee and walnut cheesecake delicious! Unfortunately we are leaving today otherwise we know were we would eat!
