The service was impeccable, also deserving a perfect score of 5. Lastly, the atmosphere was fantastic, making for an all-around exceptional dining experience. Highly recommend!

After going upst... read more I visited Fire Exit last Friday and left feeling disappointed. I asked the guard at the entrance if they could accommodate us, and he said yes. After going upstairs and entering the bar, we inquired about the availability of some empty seats, and the staff confirmed they were free. We took a seat and looked at the menu to order. However, the crew member we spoke to about the seating then told us that wearing shorts and slides was not allowed, which shocked us. I looked around and saw other people in tank tops and slides (you can check the CCTV). Feeling embarrassed, we chose to leave politely. What’s amusing is that I'm practically a regular there, and I always wear shorts and slippers. The issue is that they should have communicated this dress code upon entry, rather than allowing us to sit and then telling us. I felt confident going there dressed this way because I’ve been a frequent visitor since their soft opening. If that’s their policy, it should have been consistently enforced from the start, not just when they have a lot of customers. It’s a huge red flag, especially since I’ve always boasted about the relaxed vibe of your bar, only to find it’s not what it seems. Never again.
