What User doesn't like about Kirby's Korner Bakery:
Not sure what is going on, but lately I 've fallen into a bunch of bad companies, mean people, and **** products. If you want day old bread/doughnuts this is your spot. Yuk. Went at 6am on a Sunday, all excited to go get fresh doughnuts and bread for my wife... what did I receive instead? Literally stale doughnuts, and a loaf of bread so hard i just threw it away. Although our first experience there some of the people did not seem so friendly; we decided to still go with them because they are the best white cake. We tried several bakeries. After the first encounter, everyone we treated was so friendly and ready to help the process and make it easier than imagine. The bakery touched the base with us on several occasions to ensure counting and lots of cakes. We ordered too much cake and they contacted us to let us know. We love additional cakes so we don't change our numbers as suggested. They still did what we asked and created a beautiful tie cake and delicious leaf cake. I loved the flavors and how moist it was. We loved the look and the rests. She was easy to work and was ready to do what it takes to make our day special. Thanks for incorporating our wine theme! I would recommend this bakery to others and realize that this cake just like you imagine!

The cookies are awesome! We have cakes from here to celebrate family birthdays quite often however I had a special request... a cake to look like a can of grizzly chew for my husband's birthday and can I just say I'm speechless it turned out amazing!!!
I haven't been to Kirby's since they moved to Manhattan from New Lenox (I know, crazy! . I was on the hunt for PB&J Paczki's. They weren't on their menu, but they were SO KIND to offer to make them for me! It absolutely made my husbands day (his FAT TUESDAY . They were so delicious! Thank you Kirby for offering to do that for us. We really appreciate it!
All the pastries, Donuts, coffee cakes, etc are phenomenal. Also on weekends they have epic biscuits and gravy!!! They can be stingy on bacon on breakfast sandwiches though. Sometimes they are great, other times you pretty much have a egg and cheese sandwich. Very disappointingand frustrating not worth the gamble. Too bad cause otherwise they would be the best breakfast sandwiches around.
