We finally went t... read more I started eating there in 2002, I was stationed at Ft Riley and they were in Ogden. I left there in 2007, they had moved to Manhattan by then. We finally went through that area again in 2021. I used to love the white flour chicken tacos. I finally had a white flour fish taco in 2021, again in 2022 and again when we passed through in early June 2023. They are still as good as ever. I only wish they had free chips and salsa. If you are starving, order the Taylor Special. That is a lot of food for one person to eat.

I love their crunchy fries served hot, too.

I have ALWAYS ALWAYS loved this place. The food is like what you would get sitting in the Silva's kitchen (owners)!!!!! My favorite is the guacamole and the ranchero special! The guacamole is not what your used to but it's super yummy and the chips are freshly fried! The Ranchero special is just YUM!!!!!! Also the flour fried taco and the soft corn with shredded beef YUUMMMMMMM so good! This place is a place you either love or hate, but the Manhattan locals know this is a gem!!!!!

The s... read more Drove from Topeka to try the pan fried Tacos. We each had a chicken and a shredded beef. The shells are more a puff pastry so not really much of a crunch. The size of the tacos were huge. The chicken was decent. The beef tasted like leftover roast beef. You do not get chips and salsa so I cannot comment. The service was very attentive which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I wanted to like it more than I did.
