Good Sushi, not great. Service was pretty horrible. Freezing cold inside, temps set for staff not customers. Ordered Asahi super dry. Food runner brought Sapporo draft then proceeded to tell me they didn’t sell Asahi. Asked him to send waiter over, got the Asahi shortly after. The offerings were not unique but quality was good! Came during lunch, tried their platter which includes sampling size of some of their creations. All dishes the flavor profile’s on point, sushi rice is well seasoned, separated and still slightly warm, loved the sushi roll! I didn’t personally try it but was shared that the shrimp tempura’s freshly fried, outside’s golden crispy. Btw, you can order just a single one if a whole tempura dish is too much! Love that they offer this option. Not to mention, our waiter was great, polite, attentive, yet gave guests their space.
Excellent food! Flavorful and creative. 100% recommended.
Best sushi in town! Only thing is that they are always busy and wait is long, maybe around 3pm is when you can grab a few seats at the bar. Sushi is absolutely delicious, fresh and great quality. Variety of rolls and other dishes. Staff is courteous and kind. Located in MAnhattan Beach downtown. Great Japanese restaurant!
Best Sushi in Manhattan bch! and definitely in my top 5!
This place not what it use to be four years ago as the sashimi is much smaller and poor quality. Service was mediocre. I brought my friend here to celebrate my belated bday and disappointed with how think and small salmon sashimi was. My roll was okay. I can get same items at a sushi place in a strip mall.
