After bike crusin from Redondo beach to the edge of Playa del rey and back we decided to stop at Manhattan beach for some tacos! What Tawny Valdez doesn't like about Tacolicious:
Actually it?s a 3.5 stars. Liked the salsa that came with the chips at the start and variety of the non-alcoholic drink menu. Some of the tacos 2 of 5 were really tasty (vampiro and shrimp) and the rice and bean sides were really well done. View all feedback.
We had 4 kids with us. It's great being outside! The table was all set and ready for us!
Fun atmosphere and good food. Salsa chips on table were very good. 2 of 3 tacos were tasty with the carnitas not quite up to par. Very appreciative of their attentiveness to my sons food allergies.
I know it's all about location, I know.....For $7.50 a taco. Those were the most bland tacos I've ever had. Even with adding different salsas, the taste was not there. I know this is a tourist spot so I'll pass next time I'm around here. Salsa I had with the chips was probably the best thing I ate.Service was pretty good overall, waitress was attentive and answered all our questions.
I can only comment on the service because it was non-existent and didn't have an option to order food.When I arrived, I wasn't welcomed or asked if I wanted to be seated.I viewed the menu at the entrance and attempted to make eye contact several times with folks who appeared to work there. There were only two patrons sitting inside. ?
Showed up was told to sit wherever So i picked a table. Was then asked to move to another table after I had sat down. Then was asked to move again. Not sure what was going on with service that day. Ordered the guacamole and it was decent. Server took awhile to get my order eventhough the restaurant wasn't crazy busy. Decided to pass on main dish and just paid and left.
