I for... read more Went for brunch with friends. The drinks and food were delicious. Had a bunch of appetizers too (salmon bites, Calamari, brussel spouts, Shrimp cocktail). My friend ordered the Fried shrimp... read more I came in on a Friday early afternoon with one of my colleagues. We sat at the bar and the bartender was extremely friendly! My friend ordered the Fried shrimp plate and it was really great! The shrimp was crispy and juicy. And the two sides that she gotwere awesome. The coleslaw was one of the best I’ve had in a while and the brussels sprouts were on point. It’s a greatplace to come in for happy hour! We found out that they have oysters on happy hour and a few nights a week they do differentspecials. I will definitely be back to try those out.

You spend a few min... read more Imagine you are a mermaid and you can be human for only one day. You crawl onto the beach and try walking but your new legs won't cooperate. You spend a few minutes getting used to your wobbly bipedal limbs before starting your adventure. The firstthing you should do is go to FISHBAR. It's only a few steps away from the ocean and elegantly captures the essence of yourhomeland in every dish. It's an experience your mouth will enjoy while your eyes can take in the human experience of watchingthe passersby. You should order oysters to start and the salmon next. End the meal with the donuts. I also recommend gettingthe crab queso, steamed clams, and lobster bisque. The clams and bisque are served with bread fried in butter, which isreminiscent of fall in New England (don't ask me why, it just is). Eat all of it. You will be too full to breathe but that isthe essential human experience you must have in your one day on land. After this, you can pack it in and go home. There'snothing else left to do better than this meal--not even falling in love. Trust me.

The... read more Excellent upscale seafood in Manhattan Beach! Loved the ambiance and the food was excellent. I did the ciopinno and my wife did the mahi mahi simply great. The shrimp cocktail was great and 5 shrimps to share. Also great draft beer and Felix gave usgreat service. We brought our own wine and paid the $20 corkage fee. It was all actually priced fairly reasonable forCalifornia.
