I love au bon but it's very expensive. A small sandwich and drink will coat your $15,but definitely worth the splurge once in awhile. The hot sandwiches are delicious but nothing to write home about. What Roove doesn't like about Au Bon Pain:
It's exactly like any other Au Bon Pain. A lot of what they offer is pricey fast food.I'll eat lunch here every once in a while, but typically stick to the cafeteria on the first floor. View all feedback.
The coffee was served cold and when I asked for it to be heated up in the microwave, the grill guy flatly refused. When I inquired about another cafeteria, the cashier was very reluctant to help. It seemed as though they were annoyed by my simple requests. I visited around 1pm today and the staff's unfriendly demeanor was evident from the moment I walked in. Their rude behavior was quite disappointing, especially considering the circumstances as I was waiting for someone undergoing surgery. I believe that employees at an establishment within a hospital should be more friendly and accommodating. I'm sure there must be a microwave available in a place where food is being served. It's important to have positive and kind individuals working in such environments (and everywhere for that matter).
The sandwich was made very messily and there was hardly any lettuce or tomatoes in it. I ordered the Extra bacon BLT. Shaking my damn head.
Great. Everything was clean . Everything looked really good . Food was fresh.
Spicy (aioli) tuna sandwich ? was great. Tuna salad on a Croissant not good (still frozen, bad/burnt/unrecognizable Croissant). Staff was friendly.
