The paua pies here are fantastic! They’re perfectly balanced – not overly creamy or strong in flavor. The flaky pastry is nice and crisp, and the ice cream is delicious. Plus, the staff are wonderful! It's definitely worth a stop on your way to and from the cape. A classic Kiwi spot that won't disappoint!

They serve the best pies I've ever had in New Zealand. I will definitely return to Northland just to enjoy those pies again. Thank you for giving me such wonderful memories of Northland. The smiles of your staff are forever etched in my mind, along with the delightful tastes of the pies and ice creams.

Delicious pies! I particularly enjoyed the seafood pie. The roadside shed is a must-visit spot if you’re traveling to or from Cape Reinga.
