New Taj Mahal Cafe is a popular breakfast place at Mangalore. The place normally stays quite crowded. We tried the tuppa dose, biscuit rotti, sanjeera, moode tove and kottige sambar. I liked the moode tove and sanjeera (sweet). The sambar was little different from what you usually get in bangalore and I liked the flavour.
New taj mahal cafe is a very popular breakfast joint in Mangalore. I tried their Tuppa dose,Biscuit Rotti,Sanjeera, Moode tove Kottige sambar. Food is good no doubt. Tuppa dosa is quite heavy. Liked the sanjeera too. Sambar served with food is different in taste. Crowded during peak hours so be on time or else have to wait.
Definitely a place for a hot cup of coffee and fluffy Buns and also I would suggest everyone to try out their weird yet the ultimate combo teekroti and tove(puri and dal).
New Tajmahal Cafe needs no introduction, it's a legendary breakfast cafe in Mangalore. We ordered their signature tuppa dose, goli baje, biscuit roti, Mangalore bun, Banana halwa and filter coffee. I really loved tuppa dose, goli baje, Mangalore bun and banana halwa. Biscuit roti was kind of okay, maybe because it's cold and filter coffee was also okayish. This place is always crowded, so be prepared.
