What Marley Schowalter doesn't like about Chows Chinese Restaurant:
Ordered the Salt and Pepper Chicken, some plain Hokkien Noodles, Spring Rolls and Chinese vegetables for takeaway.
Takeaway containers were not full, I found it overpriced compared to other similar Chinese Takeaway restaurants.
The S&P chicken was good. The rest was really average, including the Spring Rolls which were gluggy and tasteless.
Won't be going back unfortunately. View all feedback.

I've been eating here for a few years. Previously called silver sand Chinese restaurant. eating is quite good. good portion sizes and cheap. they seem good to do on the take-off side of the dinge and not so good on eating out of any reason. we feed now and then as an extended family and my parents eat here regularly and we never had a bad meal. tonight we had a combination of fried rice, honey-wun, chicken cashew, bark meat and black bean (amuse, best I have everywhere), curry vegetables, garlic prawn and chicken and maize soup and spring roll. all above. great service, there is a new waitress. very friendly and polite. in the past, the waitresses...read more
We were the only people in there, so we would have given warn signs. the Australian gentleman who met us and served us could teach with a few people skills. it does not help if there is a TV screen showing Tv programs...not what they would expect in a Chinese reatuarant. the service very bad when my starter plate was deleted, he pushes my knife and fork of the plate on the table, which means that I use it for the main course. apart from the fact that one had the order, no conversation or communication, which is so ever. the gentleman was dressed as if he had just done something outside in the garden, not dressed for the service at all. I have the impression that he just didn't seem disturbed. but eating was really nice. but if you get bad service, it doesn't play any role as well as eating. a few more came when we were there, and that was it. I don't think they'd get another one. Maybe they don't need it, they can survive on holidaymakers who only come once.
This restaurant is a fair distance from where I live, but I must say it is definitiw the journey worth. the shop doesn't look much from the front windows somewhat dirty, but not being deceived eating is delicious freshly cooked amazing service very fast....I will come back.
