This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I was immediately captivated by the wonderful aroma that greeted me as I entered. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making me feel right at home. As for the food, the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had—I would gladly return just to order them again. I also tried the roast beef po'boy, and it was fantastic! The roast beef was sliced very thin, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. I am really pleased with my experience here and will definitely be visiting again very soon.
The fried red onion rings are unbeatable. The thinly sliced roast beef po' boy is among the best you'll find anywhere. I had their hamburger the other night, and it was cooked to perfection on a flat top griddle, topped with fresh tomato slices and crisp lettuce. Overall, it's one of the best hamburgers I've had, whether on the north or south shore. I highly recommend this place!
What truly stands out about this restaurant is the vision and dedication behind it. I had the chance to chat with the owner, and he shared that when he first opened, they served homemade steak fries, which he was pleased with. However, he later decided to switch to double-fried crispy fries! The food is outstanding, especially the signature New Orleans Poboy bread. One great example is the crispy, juicy surf and turf, featuring fried shrimp and richly flavored roast beef, all served on that delicious Poboy bread. It’s the kind of sandwich that looks amazing, and as soon as you take a bite, you find yourself wiping your mouth and repeating the process to savor the deliciousness.
Thank you for the fantastic po'boys! We served them at our son's graduation party today, and I believe they were all gone within just 15 minutes! The bread was incredibly fresh, and the roast beef was hot, juicy, and absolutely delicious! We also had the fried shrimp and hot sausage po'boys, and they were fantastic as well! The owner of the restaurant was a pleasure to work with. This is definitely our new favorite spot for po'boys!
