What User doesn't like about Rainforest:
We used their laundry. It was the most expensive laundry (3000 Ks per kilo) we used in 6 months in SE Asia (also the most expensive in Myanmar). And apparently the quality was the worst. Nobody bothered to fold the clothes properly, so what we got was very crumpled clothes. Like you pulled it from the cows butt. Don’t go there. The worst price/quality ratio. View all feedback.
Tasty music and good decoration. Good Thai food. Also the pancake are delicious!
Rent a bicycle here only if you have no choice. We rented two bicycles while receiving very rude service from the staff ordering us to fill form for him in very impolite manner, and requesting us to pay and give the ID while we even have no idea what kind of bicycles we gonna have or the conditions/time to return/etc. When we ask to test the bike, what we have is just rude and unwilling response. And as expected the bicycles are ill-maintained. I got one which make terribly unpleasant noise when braking which shows the bicycle have not been maintained probably since it arrived Burma from Japan. And the bottom hub is wore off. The staff has no response hearing the sound and say it is good. And this is the best bicycle they have because others are just non-functioning, such as broken brakes. As a bicycle lover who assemble bikes by myself occasionally, I believe the basic ethic for bicycle business is to make sure it is up to safety standard, ie make sure the brakes and wheels are fine to be on the road. And definitely it is not the case in this shop. The rental fee each bicycle is 3000ks/day, which is good while also common in Mandalay. There are quite a few bicycle rental shops in Mandalay offering the same price. E.g. I rented one from Honey Home Bike, much better in every aspect. So, why pay for something so unpleasant? You can make your choice.

Clean and rustic restaurant located in a friendly sri lanka antique dealer, the restaurant is filled with Burmese value. open morning to breakfast, then they come here when they arrived early to check into their hotel. eating is ok, but expensive for the tiny portions (conscious French toast is literally a piece toast, so they order more, how eating takes a fair time.) more useful point to note, they can book taxis, tours and buses to really cheap trips here (we have our bagan bus trip and a really cheap tuk tuk to mandalay hill booked)
