We ordered a margarita pizza but received a vegan pizza instead. When my pregnant sister tried a slice, she found it tasted like soap. I also tried it and confirmed the soapy taste. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, I overheard the host discussing with the chef about the possibility of soap transferring onto the pizza. Situated on Oxford Road near the universities, this pub is a dependable choice for a meal or drink no matter the season.
I finally got around to reviewing Sandbar! I first visited this place during a weekend trip to Manchester with a friend, before I relocated to the area.
So, after participating in Yelp's Pizza Off and discovering that my favorite pizza slice of the night was from Sandbar, I couldn't wait to try the other 9 slices.
Decent pizzas. Nice selection of beers. #1 watering hole on both campi. Could do with some refurbishment.
