I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and it has always been fantastic! The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Plus, they serve Mythos beer which is a bonus! It's definitely a top choice for dining out. View all feedback.
What jpcheshire1615 doesn't like about Rozafa:
This was a disappointing experience. We went for an early evening meal. The restaurant was busy and as a result too noisy for comfort. There are no soft furnishings to dampen the sound. The food itself was reasonable but no more. I enjoyed my stifado; my wife's chicken souvlaki was basic. The chips were very poor. These were two classic Greek dishes that any Greek restaurant should do well. The toilets are in the bas... View all feedback.
Food was great here. They even had entertainment when a Greek customer got up and did a dance. Not sure why. He must have loved the food! There were somersaults and drinks acrobatics. The ambience was suitable and music of course was only Greek. Vegan options were quite good.
Absolutely lovely place . Been wanting to try it for years and we finally did. The restaurant is very Greek authentic with very friendly attentive staff . Fantastic menu choice and the house whites decent too. Both of us really enjoyed our meals the lamb is so authentic and just falls of the bone .
We went for an early bird deal just after lunchtime, and quite enjoyed our time there. The food was rich, full of flavour, affordable, and different to what I would normally have. As it was an 'early bird ' time there were not many other people, and the service was quick. A great place to start (or continue) your acquaintance with Greek and Cypriot cuisine!
After spending some time traveling from London to Manchester, my family and I were eager for some different food, namely Greek. At home, Mediterranean food is our favorite. From the beginning of our experience in Rozafa to the end, we were very, very disappointed with the service. The service was poor. They barely came to our table. When I asked our server to explain the dish, he acted like he didn't understand me and put it down for my order. We ordered a first course of pita bread and hummus for 3, and we were given 2 slices of pita bread while other tables were given 6 (for two people, btw). Once our dinner came, we didn't see the server for another hour. Yes, we were at this restaurant for almost an hour and a half and most of it entailed waiting to be acknowledged. We didn't see this with the other tables, and it has lead us to believe that they targeted us as Americans. We did not show them disrespect. We asked questions, and we tried to be unassuming. Needless to say, but it is not high on my recommendations. Ohh...and the food was okay.
Great atmosphere, fun and friendly service, live Greek music, and most of all tasty food value for money! I went in a group of 9, and 15 minutes in to being sat down we were encouraged to get up and join in on some Greek dancing! We found ourselves dancing in one big circle around the restaurant with another big group of customers, as well as a few waiters! The food came out in good time, drinks were topped up plenty, they even threw in the odd freebie. Felt like we were on holiday would definitely recommend.
