it's a pret, so you know what you're gonna get. good quality snacks. to be at the airport means that waiting can sometimes be slow. fun coffee etc. take time. personal always friendly, service with a smile. 500ml bottle water is a bargain in comparison to some outlets at the airport. What Tkaur87 doesn't like about Pret A Manger:
I was really gutted today, having always raved about and knowing I'd at least find something to eat there, today i found myself genuinely surprised by the lack of egg-free veggie or vegan sandwiches. There was one sandwich which was a posh chedder pickle and even that contained egg, which I'm unable to have. The staff did offer to check the book but just stated that each cafe gets a different order and these were the... View all feedback.
I made a quick visit to this restaurant while my flight was delayed. The service was fast and efficient. The most impressive aspect was a staff member named Julian, who worked tirelessly to ensure that tables were clean, rubbish was cleared, food shelves were wiped, and the floors were swept. He then seamlessly transitioned into serving customers, all while maintaining a cheerful attitude and chatting with patrons. Julian was quick to identify any issues and address them promptly without missing a beat. He truly deserves to be recognized as Employee of the Month!
My twin brother Stephen and I were in Manchester Airport to catch a flight to Prague to enjoy an eight days holiday in that beautiful Bohemian city ,with lots of time to kill we headed to Pret A Manger to grab a quick bite to eat as with such an early flight we had left home without a breakfast within us,we purchased a baguette each ,I chose a cheese salad baguette while my twinny went for an egg salad baguette ,we also got a flat white coffee each ,service was quick and I must say the coffee was really good ,we grabbed a table were we chilled out eating our baguettes and looking forward to our holiday in Prague,we both enjoyed our coffee's and baguettes in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to this Pret A Manger outlet in Manchester Airport we were totally impressed.
Go anywhere else in the airport, even in a 24/7 One stop down the road. Went in with my girlfriend today, 1 member of staff on the floor, 2 behind the tills, no queue, relaxed atmosphere, picked up a sandwich and a drink. Went up to the bar to be ignored for 4-5 minutes by them, then served another customer who came behind me. Then I tried to pay again but was ignored again and told by one of them we would not be served. No reason given, no one available to talk to, all other customers dealt with normally. Frankly wondering if it is because I am not british? Or if they did not like the way we looked. I just put everything back on the shelves and went somewhere else. If your staff is not comfortable dealing with foreigners maybe don't put them up working in an airport, or in contact with the public at all. This happened on 16/03/22 around 4pm. Always a nice start to the holidays.
This restaurant is a well-liked dining option at Manchester airport. The food quality and coffee are excellent, and prices are similar to other restaurants in the airport. It is also quieter compared to other neighboring eateries.
Bought a chicken pesto flatbread, massively overly priced, £4.50 only to eat it to find the chicken content was hardly any…. And the bread was like eating cardboard…. Massive let down on something that looked quite tempting…… how they can charge that price is scandalous….. was actually bought at terminal 2 arrivals but not listed on here….. so used terminal 1 as same company….
