Reviews - Binary Grill

Grill, Lunch, Pizza

Reviews summary

Nestled in the lively atmosphere of a moderate-sized venue, this restaurant strikes a balance between hearty pub fare and entertaining comedy nights. While the food, particularly the pizzas, can be a hit—especially during happy hour with enticing discounts—the waiting times may test diners' patience. The bar offers reasonably priced drinks, making it an appealing spot for sports enthusiasts. However, some patrons have found the comedy acts inconsistent, with experiences ranging from humor to discomfort. With friendly staff and occasional specials, it remains a popular choice, but prospective guests should manage their expectations regarding food and entertainment quality.

What Aw dislikes about Binary Grill:

Grotty sports bar. Paid for comedy tickets online but nobody checked them anyway, nobody else had paid. Poor comedy acts, rowdy regular patrons with bigoted heckles that bar staff did nothing about, and drinks very expensive. Guinness was £5.40, bar staff poured properly, head was dark brown and tasted sour. Avoid. View all feedback.

I went to Comedy Night on a Sunday, and I wouldn't recommend it. It took over an hour for our pizzas to arrive, and when they did, they were all burnt—six burnt pizzas in total! As for the comedy, it felt more like bullying from the host, who made derogatory comments about people's living conditions and appearances. If you're looking for a fun night out, I suggest you save your money and look elsewhere.

Wonderful restaurant! I went there last night for a friend's 40th birthday, and it was fantastic. Mike was an excellent host.

Been here several times. Comedy is great fun and has a mix of new and experienced comics. The bar has also got decent specials on drinks A 2l pitcher for £15 and food as well. Shows start at 7:45 and finish by 10pm. Would recommend going.
